I've only just got into them, but yes, such a great app. Previously I'd get the odd audio book via netgalley but when I'm moving about it's so great to be listening to a book. I'm in a bit of a music lull so it's perfect. x
i feel so honored to be on this journey with you. yes, these posts are on substack, a public forum, but still, the way you write makes me feel invited in....a gift. so thank you for sharing the ups and downs, ins and outs. reminders that we are all just human.
at one year in posting on substack i am still trying to get a feel for how vulnerable to be in my posts, i look to you as one stellar example. :-)
What a super summer you’ve had, Katy! Obviously some rotten times, too, but overall, magical.
I haven’t done half the galleries I wanted to go to or the seasides I wanted to visit but like you, I’ve had some outstanding times and they’ll keep me going until the next round of fun things happen xx
I don't think we ever do it all though, do we? There are so many things I didn't get round to this summer, but that's ok. As you say, enough until the next round of fun things happens! x
I love this Katy. I was just back home from a walk in the sun thinking about my summer and things I could improve. Summer is always a challenge. But I have eaten ice creams, roamed freely, laughed loudly hugged friends. I love the Bold trainers too and the extra inch they give you. And Cabaret.
When I get the twitchy eye or extra tenseness, I know it’s a sign to add more magnesium to my diet. Have your magnesium levels checked. Most people are deficient.
"It was the week I discovered the Libby App and the fact that I could get free audio book piped directly into my ears."
Yes, it's a great discovery, right? Love an audio book.

You are always invited. As my mum says' 'Take your coat off, you're stopping!' x
Love this!!

I love every bit of this. Getting to hang out with you was absolutely a highlight of my summer. And now I want those trainers too.
They are the best thing ever. I think we should get a pair each and go out together, twinning!

Eating ice cream is always a high point, isn't it? x
My downfall x
Happy shoes

Ah! I stopped taking it a few months ago. I'll get back on it. x
I had a strong presentiment that you’d love Sophie Willan. I don’t know why!
Ha ha ha!
